The First Google Storage

In 1996 , Larry Page and Sergey Brin working on the Digital Library Project, needed a large amount of storage to test their PageRank algorithm on actual world wide web data. At that time 4 GB hard disks were the largest . So they assembled 10 of them in a low cost cabinet.

The image showing the cabinet in which 10 hard disks were assembled , 4 GB each.
